Business Incubation is one of the single most important global innovations for the 21st Century.

The mission of the first Norwegian-Russian business incubator Polar Star is to develop the economic cooperation between Norway and Russia.

Target group – future-oriented companies which are interested in development of Norwegian-Russian business projects:

– newly established companies,
– individuals who have intentions to establish a company,
– Norwegian representatives of SME (small and medium enterprise) who have intentions to present themselves at the N-W Russian market, establish a company or representative office there or to start co-project with a Russian side.
– Russian representatives of SME who have intentions to present themselves at the Norwegian market, establish a company or representative office there or to start co-project with a Norwegian side.

Polar Star business incubator supports entrepreneurs during all business development stages while they are within the incubator.

Incubator entry process

Companies that satisfy requirements to apply shall submit written application / electronic application for admission to Incubator. The application shall contain a general business plan or idea description and shall answer to following questions:

  • Resume of business idea or business idea concept: (main idea, ambition, phased plan of idea implementation with intermediate results, the present project phase)
  • Innovative component of a business idea
  • Growth potential for a business idea during 3 years
  • Ideas about financing and opportunities to attract investors to the company
  • Describe the potential for cooperation with surrounding industry/business activity on Norwegian and Russian sides
  • Detailed business plan (if any)
  • Additional information: (about company, team, business contacts, presence of potential clients, contractors and sub-contractors)
  • Education and experience: (short CV: degree, work experience, business training and courses)
  • Contact information (name, email and phone).
